The oil is intended for protection of wooden sweating shelf and bench surfaces against the effects of moisture and dirt in saunas and steam baths. Can be used to protect both untreated and previously oiled surfaces, provided that they have retained absorbency. The oil penetrates the surface and gives the wood a deeper colour tone, at the same time bringing out its structure.
Surfaces to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned and well dried. The air and surface temperature should be above +5 ºC during application. Air relative humidity must not be higher than 85%. Apply SAUNAOIL to a clean and dry surface with a brush or cloth. After application, allow the oil to be absorbed into the surface for 10–20 minutes. If the oil absorbs immediately, the treatment should be repeated. The rate of absorption will depend on the wood type and porosity. After the treatment, heat the sauna for 30–60 minutes and then remove the non-absorbed oil (if any) with a cloth. The surface is then ready for further use. The consumption of SAUNAOIL is 8–16 m²/l depending on the wood type and porosity. Wash tools used for painting with warm water and soap. It is recommended to use up all of the product. Storage. Store in a tightly closed container in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, separately from food products and animal feed.
